Frequently asked questions about wedding photography in Langley and Vancouver, BC
wedding faq
You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers
How would you describe yourself and your approach? I describe myself and a photographer 'for the free-spirited lovers and families'. I am passionate about heartfelt, untraditional weddings in organic, natural settings. My work is intimate but still playful, dark but still vibrant and my clients prioritize having fun, celebrating with their loved ones and going with the flow.
How far in advance do you book? Typically I book 12-18 months in advance, but please contact me at any time to check my availability!
How can we book? I do a 50% retainer to hold the date and a signed contract. The remaining balance is due the week of your wedding.
How many photos can we expect to receive? I typically deliver around 80 to 100 individually edited images per hour of coverage but every wedding is different. It is my goal to capture your day fully and authentically, leaving nothing important out!
How long until our photos are ready? I always send a preview collection within a week of your wedding with lots of my favourites from the day. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you share these images right after the big day! Delivery time for the full wedding is within 12 weeks for summer weddings.
Do you have a second shooter? I do! I am completely comfortable and happy shooting solo for weddings that are around 150 guests and smaller but no matter what, the option to add my second shooter is always there! What about destination weddings? Do you travel? Absolutely! Topping my wish list right now is a summer wedding in Banff, a sandy elopement at Burning Man and to return to Iceland!
Can we see a full wedding gallery? Yes! I’d love to show you a wedding in it’s entirety. Shoot me a message and I’ll send you some links!
We don’t know what we’re doing… will you coach us? Posing (without letting you look ‘posed’) is something that I’m super passionate about! I’ve actually done some teaching on it to other photographers at workshops like the Camp Collective and Experience ARC so you’re in good hands, I promise!
